Travel Vaccinations
If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel please speak a member of the Reception Team who will provide you with a travel advice questionnaire and book you an appointment with a Practice Nurse. The Nurse then will discuss any vaccines and advice that you require at your appointment.
It is important to contact the surgery as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment may be required with the practice nurse should you require a course of vaccinations.
Some travel vaccines and medication are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
