Community Midwives

The midwife specialises in the care of women before, during and immediately after pregnancy. To contact the midwife team please ring the surgery.

Community Nurses

District nurses provide nursing care both within the surgery and to patients at home.

They are based at the Cavendish Hospital and can be contacted on 01332 564 900 via the central access point.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered practitioner who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women.

Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

The team can be contacted on 07816 064870 from 09:00-17:00.

Attached Staff

Dementia Support Worker offers help and support to people with dementia and their carers. They can also undertake dementia screening.

A Citizens Advice Bureau adviser is here on a Thursday afternoon for help and advice on a range of problems (by appointment).
