Mr Bob Whitehouse

Bob is employed by the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) as a practice based advisory pharmacist.

His role within the practice involves reviewing and advising on all aspects of prescribing and medication.

He may call you to chat about your medication!

Community Midwives

The midwife specialises in the care of women before, during and immediately after pregnancy. Messages for her can be left with the reception staff.

Community Nurses

District nurses provide nursing care both within the surgery and to patients at home. They are based at the Cavendish Hospital in Buxton and can be contacted on 01298  212827.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

The team are based at The Lodge and can be contacted on 07816 064870 from 09:00 - 17:00.  Messages can be left on this number.

Attached Staff

The Counselling Service offers counselling to patients, this is on a self- referral basis.  An information leaflet is available if you would like to know more.

The Dietician gives dietary advice to patients referred by the doctors.

A Citizens Advice Bureau advisor is here on a Thursday afternoon for help and advice on a range of problems (by appointment).
