Letter of Commendation for Exceptional Service
We always try to do our best for our patients and it is gratifying to receive thanks and compliments. So we'd like to share this letter we received recently of which the staff here at Elmwood are rightly proud!
Commendation for exceptional service
Our doctors, nurses and staff have your needs at the forefront of everything we do. Together, we are able to offer assessment of new health problems along with monitoring and management of chronic diseases.
The following are included in our areas of expertise: Women's and men's health, Childhood illness, Chest, abdominal, neurological and musculoskeletal problems, Family planning, Travel health, Minor surgery, Mental health wellbeing and Palliative care.
We work closely with our local district nurses, midwives and health visitors to support your health needs.
See our latest patient experience results where we achieved above national average in all domains - 87% of responses rating us as 'good, very good or excellent'.
There is easy access for the disabled and wheelchairs, with all consulting rooms on the ground floor. Disabled toilets are also available. There is a patient car park at the front of the building.
Almost half of our patients are registered for online patient access so can use the links below to order repeat prescriptions, request an appointment or cancel an appointment. If you would also like to do so, just contact reception.
We would like to reassure our patients that online services are not a replacement for the traditional ways of contacting us.
For your convenience we have an automated arrivals system located in reception and free wi-fi.
From time to time we support Medical Students from Sheffield University in their training - if this is the case there will be a sign on the reception desk and on the automated check in. If you would prefer to see the clinician alone, please inform the receptionist and this will be arranged - nobody will be offended.
